Sudden FBI departures indicate that the jig is up

By Thomas Lifson February 9, 2018

Choose your metaphor: rats leaving a sinking ship, cockroaches scurrying away from the light, or maybe just people cutting deals to save their butts.  Yesterday saw the FBI fan feculated.
The blandness of this Politico story, titled "Two more officials cited in FBI texts step down," conceals really, really big news.  The jig is up.  Each of the "officials" who is "stepping down" is leaving under duress and likely facing serious legal consequences for acts that have been disclosed – acts that go to the heart of the fraudulent application for the Page FISA warrant and the obstruction of justice in the Hillary email probe.

Hugh Hewitt explained the departure of David Laughman on Twitter, as noted on the Washington Post.  Via Twitchy:........Read more

My Take - Now it really begins.  There're those who still have great respect for the FBI and the Justice Department saying the vast majority are still good people.  Well, that's true and it isn't true.   All these things are always broken down in the following manner.  There's the totally corrupt, then there's the totally honest, and they're both minorities at polar extremes.  The rest are in the middle and just want to keep their jobs, and they'll jump either way when it's to their benefit.

That means those truly honest people will start spilling the beans because they now know they're not going to suffer the consequences of being a whistle blower.  Once that starts happening those in the middle will start to corroborate their testimony.  Then those who are part of the corrupt cabal, but at the lower end of the power structure, will start singing to save themselves, and then each tier will be exposed and as each tier is exposed more will start singing.  Eventually the top tier will be exposed, arrested, charged, prosecuted and sentenced.

Now it starts!
